feeding while asleep ONLY?

i think i have a real problem with my DD

for the past month or so, she wll only take the bottle while she's sleeping! so, we can only get her to feed when she's nodded off for naptimes or bedtime. she naps pretty frequently kind of around her feeding scheudle, every 3-4 hours.

i have tried withholding the bottle for when she's real hungry while she is awake.. this only works for like 2 ounces.. she'll suck vigorously for 2 ounces and then stop! just enough to satisfy the hunger i guess.

what am i to do?

eta: DD is 5months today.

Sorry... Never had that problem....she would always take her bottle...but was never a huge drinker all at once. she would take a few ounces here and there.
