I go see Dr. Stelling in Stonybrook. No idea if he takes your insurance though.

Hopefully some other ladies will respond b/c I know there is a RE that focuses on high FSH patients. I have heard it before on the boards, maybe search high FSH RE? Sorry I can't help.

Why can't you see Dr. B? Insurance?
I don't have any recommendations, but I'm sure you'll find another great doctor!

Go to Cornell Weill institute. They are supposed to be one of the best in the country.

Re: feel like crying...need a new doctor asap!
Try Dr. Tortoriello in NYC at SIRM. He is high FSH/low ovarian reserve friendly and SIRM is up on the latest with respect to all immune issues. If you decide on Cornell...ask for Dr. Davis or Spandorfer. I don't think you can change RE's once you start with one. GL whatever you decide.

Re: feel like crying...need a new doctor asap!
call BC/BS. A few years ago, they advised me I can use doctors that report their statistics to SART.
Although Cornell did report, they were NOT part of the network and BC/BS does not have out of network for IF.
I have used RSNY, East Coast Fertility and LI-IVF. All are good, but for me they didn't think out of the box. This is only my opinion. I really liked all three places and doctors, but needed more than they offered.
When I called ins. SIRM did not particiipate in SART. Now I believe they do and they may be covered. If you have immune issues, Dr. B can treat for those issues you will need to pay him but your monitoriing and cycles will be at the clinic you choose.
Dr. T at SIRM has worked with Dr. B for years and he treats immune issues.
Good luck

Re: feel like crying...need a new doctor asap!
When I found out that Dr. B didn't take my insurance, I made an appointment with NSUH. They take most insurance policies and I have heard good things on the boards about them.
(I never ended up going because we are doing IVF with DR. B now which isn't covered by my insurance anyway).

Re: feel like crying...need a new doctor asap!
I use RSofNY and because they are a center of excellence, there is no copay. Also, IVF is billed at $6500 complete. While her bedside manner leaves MUCH to be desired Dr. Cain is very knowledgable about high FSH....if you can get past her bedside manner

I also use RSofNY have dealt with the Mineola office, but will be trying West Islip now for my 1ST IVF cycle in the coming month. You do have to go to Mineola to do actual procedures, but I love the people there! I see Dr. Stelling now because of genetic disorder but Dr. Trivack is also amazing !!!
