Feeling Down & discouraged
Just need to vent ...I have been looking for a job down in Orlando Fl. since the beginning of the year. And obviously with the job market and the fact that I work in title insurance (real estate) I've been having a hard time. Well a few weeks ago I get an email out of the blue from someone from a Mtg. Co. asking me where a grew up..PS ended up being this girl who was practically my sister in elementary school...well her husbands aunt works for a title co. down in Orlando..so they called her for me...turns out they have a position opening soon and wanted my phone number to call and talk to me. Now i'm thinking OMG this is fate!!! and I got all excited..I've been like a highschool girl waiting for the boy she likes to call her..checking my phone constantly...Well its been a week since I gave my old friend my contact info and her hubby gave it to his aunt the next day ..and I still haven't heard anything..I know its only been a week..but I just feel so blahhh that I'll never find anything  I just needed to vent that out..Thanks girls

I don't want to be too much of a pain..she went above and beyond for me as it is..although I emailed her Monday about getting together maybe tonight and she asked me if I'd heard from his Aunt..and I told her no. Maybe in another week I'll see if she wouldn't mind calling again

Maybe you can find out the name of the company that the Aunt works for and contact her yourself. I wouldn't be shy about following up with a potential job contact.

Thanks girls..I actually asked my friend if she had the aunt's email so I could go ahead and just send my resume to jump start things, but she didn't..she was going to ask her MIL but I never heard back GRRRRRRRRR
