Felt OK. .. till I walked into the RE's office
Tested all week at home, negative. I was fine with it. No biggie. fist time. I had zero expectations. I walk in this morning for the stupid beta and as soon as I sit down to get the blood drawn my bottom lip starts to quiver, and big huge tears that I cant stop just roll down my face. Watching that vial fill up knowing the result just sucked. I WAS FINE ALL WEEK. I WAS UPBEAT DRVING THERE. Then it hit me. Cried a bit in the car, rolled down the window and gulped in some freezing cold air, and I am better. At work now shoving a bagel into my face. And I am back to my OK self.
So looking ahead - how soon after I stop those progesterone suppositories can I expect AF to show? Thanks for letting me talk about this. I haven't shared my IF issues with anyone in "real life" and it gets so lonely with no release sometimes.

It's rough going for a beta when you know it's a BFN. But just look on the bright side - that a new cycle is just days away!
When I stopped progesterone, it took about 4 or 5 days to get AF. Some women get it earlier, some later. But a few days is a general rule.

I'm sorry it stinks. I have been in that chair with that reaction way too many times. They are used to it. Unfortunately.
I get AF after 2 missed doses. So if I did it this morning, then got BFN beta, I would begin to spot the next morning and full flow by that evening or next morning
With my failed IVF, I started AF after just one missed dose. I think she was gonna come either way.

Man have I been there before....it totally sucks.... i'm sorry  I usually got AF 2 days after stopping progesterone...

Its really tough. All of the hormones and meds don't make it any easier. This is the first time the progesterone really messed with my cycle so it took about 4 days after I stopped to get AF. Best of luck to you!

Ohh I totally understand I went through this exact thing last cycle with my first IUI. I feel like you just repainted my picture. I too was in my car hysterical and completely let loose in front of my doctor. Sometimes we need to just have a good cry and its totally normal. One day this will all be behind us that's all we have to keep reminding ourselves.

Can I just say - as much as it %)&#%$&%# STINKS that we are in this boat, I am glad I am in it with all of you I have felt so isolated and alone through this process. It is so GREAT to be able to vent and let it out here and to be understood. Annnnnddd now I am crying. Again. But GOOD tears this time.

same exact boat this am. i just knew this wasnt the month though - for some reason - because i usually think it is every other month. so i will stop with progesterone today too. next month will be our month!!!

Unfortunately no. We live in northern Virginia, outside of DC. But its cool to know that we will probably be having the same cycle. I am going to do another timed intercourse cycle.

I been there. I loose it in the car. Thats the only place I'm truly alone and it all catches up to me. Sometimes you gotta let it out. With my IVFs I didn't test ahead of time bc I knew I would loose it at the office. I hope your next cycle is better!

I have cried so many times to random people, it's nuts. I think it's healthy and your body's way of letting you express your emotions!! Holding in this stress is not good!
We all have each other to vent to during this whole ordeal.

Sorry :( . Sometimes you just have to let it out, I think I look like the crazy woman CIO in the parking garage at the re when it happens to me. After stopping progesterone I get AF withing 5-7 days

so sorry, sending you hugs. I just had my first IUI on Thursday, so far I have no expectation. Not sure how i'll feel when I have to go to the Dr. next week.
