Fertile Turtle - now with turtle costume!! LOL
Hey have any of you heard of a 'fertile turtle'?
My friend just gave me a little silver turtle charm attached to a safety pin and told me it's a "fertil Turtle" and you're supposed to pin it to your bra and it's supposed to bring you luck TTC.
She said it can only be given to you by someone who has children themselves...and then when you're done with it you pass it on to another woman having trouble TTC.
I thought it was cute.
I pinned it in the front of my bra between my bbs - its the onl;y place you wouldnt see the little shape of a turtle through my shirt!! But now, every time I move I feel the charm move - it's kind of funny.

I have never heard of it, but hey at this point I'll take whatever I can get!! 
I was given a "good luck" silver charm bracelet by my SIL last Christmas, that wasn't necessarily "TTC" related but she knew we were TTC and thought it would bring us some positive energy. My bracelet has different good luck charms such as a horseshoe, ladybug, wishbone, 4 leaf clover, chinese symbol for luck, etc.
I wear this religiously and DH thinks I'm CRAZY  but it DOES make me feel better so the heck with him

One of my SIL's gave me a St Gerard medal and I used to pin it to my underware over one of my ovaries...(I wouldn't wear it as a necklace)

I guess everybody has there good luck charm. I have a prayer on my refrigerator for woman who are trying to conceive. I say it every day.

I was given a Fertility Goddess necklace by a friend a loooong time ago (I don't think they knew what it was.) I've been trying to find it lately, but I can't seem to unearth it in all the junk in my house.
At this point I'm ready to try anything, even if it seems silly.

I think we should all wear turtles.

my stepdad gives all family members TTC a St. Gerard medal too. LOL - I just never heard it used in this particular way!

Yeah - but think about it, if I had the turtle costume I wouldnt even have to TELL DH that I was Oing. I could just put my costume on and get in to bed and he would just know.
