Feta is on my do not eat list from my drs office even if it is pasteurized. But my doctors office list is very extensive and I know other pregnant people who eat it. I am sure you are fine.

If I recall correctly, the response from my OB was that it fell into the category of "it is cooked into something (spanakopita) or baked into something" then its fine.

Good! I wasn't worried til I read this post! I assumed all pasteurized cheese was fine and the cheeses I consume are. I eat gorgonzola cheese in my salad daily too and it's pasteurized so assumed it wasn't an issue.
One thing I've done by accident a few times is drink fresh squeezed juice that is not pasteurized. Obviously not on purpose but I've been fine.

I ate feta like every other day. I'm fine, dd is fine.
This is America. Unless you specifically seek it out, cheese is pasteurized. I don't know of any restaurants milking cows and goats in the kitchen to make their own cheese. Enjoy it!

I asked my doctor about the feta specifically because I was surprised it was on my do not eat list and I usually always have it on my salads, and she had said even though it is pasteurized, it's a soft cheese in the blue vein group and is still susceptible to listeria. They also had blue cheese and gorgonzola in the same category. My doctors office is VERY strict though on their list.

...I've had my dr tell me not to eat salads out at restaurants while pregnant because it's raw and you don't know how well it's washed.
My point being, there will definitely be arguments against eating everything. Everrrrryyyythingggggg 
Feta from a chain restaurant must be pasteurized. I ate it my whole pregnancy. Actually, now my ds loves feta. I'm going to say that's why

Water can be contaminated. You never know. In Flint, Michigan they had lead leeching into the water supply for months before it was discovered. Or bottled water may harbor some bacteria or something can leech in from the plastic bottle.
Or if you eat in a restaurant, some employee could not wash their hands and you can get some gross bacteria even in your cooked food. And ANYTHING can harbor listeria from hummus to lettuce to frozen organic pizza
And the air, the amount of pollution in the air, all the hydrocarbons we belch out from our cars and furnaces, and the ozone layer is now depleted.... I mean if you think about it, it's a wonder we are all still alive and our babies are all fine after being pregnant for 9 months in such a dangerous environment.
Bottom line, you should have seen what I ate and did while pregnant. It would make some of these strict doctors faint.
And we all lived.
And DD is never sick, like EVER. So I wonder if it's from all the preservatives and processed crap I ate....she was well preserved!
