Fever/Coughing question
Damien has a 102.1 fever. He also has a post nasal drip cough and his nose is running clear. Can I give him a fever reducer and a separate cough suppressant? I am pretty sure that as long as neither have the same ingredients it's okay. He will be up all night coughing if I don't give him anything and he gets really high fevers so I don't want to neglect that either. TIA

Re: Fever/Coughing question
If you can put off giving the fever reducer, you may be better off. His body has probably raised his body temperature in order to fight off an infection. Also his fever is bound to go up higer tonight (sorry).
I generally only give them if they're uncomfortable.

Thanks gals.
The thing is if I don't give him anything it usually goes up to a 103 or 104 temp.
