Fever is gone, but now a rash has appeared
DD had a fever thurs night, fri, and yesterday morning. As of mid-day yesterday, the fever has been gone. She was EXTREMELY cranky yesterday, but seems much better today. Now the only thing is that a rash has appeared on her forehead, behind her ears, neck, shoulders, and chest. Not on her arms or legs. And ideas as to what this might be? I had her to the ped on fri and he said she prob just had a virus.

Definitely sounds like roseola. Nothing can be done. Just wait a few days and the rash will be gone.

Another vote for Roseola. The rash actually means it is over. Once the rash breaks out your DC is no longer contagious.

Because the temp is gone Im voting for roseola infantum also.....
Do a quick search and see if the rash looks the same....
If she still had a fever I would say scarlet fever (which is really just strep throat)...so you might want to make sure that the rash isnt the same...
