Fibroids!!
DH and I are going to TTC soon. I have a ton of fibroids on the outside of my uterus. Next month I am going back to the obgyn to check on them. However, my regular PCP is telling me I am at a high risk for a miscarriage. I haven't discussed this yet with my obgyn. I plan to next month.
If you were pregnant with fibroids or know of anything about this, please share your experience. Any insight would be appreciated.
Thank you!

Fibroids!!
I have them too , and was told the same thing, I'm not so worried my RE said that even having them removed doesn't change the percentage that much. I also know ppl that have them and had successful pregnancies. Good luck I'm sure you will be fine

Re: Fibroids!!
I have one small one, but it is no where near the lining of the uterus and RE said it wouldn't matter for me. However, every patient is different, and it would depend on a few things: how many fibroids you have, where they are located, if they are near the cervix or near the lining of the uterus, and the size of them.
Best of Luck!!!!

Fibroids!!
I know you posted this about a month ago but thought I could help. I tried getting pregnant with fibroids and it just didn't happen. By I had one huge one (about the size of a grapefruit), not multiples. When my OB suggested taking it out I decided I wanted the opinion of an RE. He had me try for 6 more months and then if I didn't get pregnant or hold a pregnancy he said it had to come out. In the meantime it grew. So it came out. I had him do it, he had a good reputation as a surgeon.
Per doctors orders we waited 4 months to start trying again. Now a year post surgery we are back at the RE. (Although I had another medical issue that cost us nearly 3 months, so I really only tried for about 5 months, but he said to come in if I wasn't pregnant by 6 months).
He told me before the surgery that there is a small chance that scar tissue will form and make it difficult to conceive, but my worst case scenario if that happened is most likely IVF. He is not at all sure at this point that my lack of pregnancy is due to the surgery at all, its possible I am not ovulating regularly and that would be completely unrelated.
But I was on a lot of myomectomy boards before and after the surgery and the amount of people who conceived quickly after they were allowed to TTC again was very encouraging. These are people who struggled a long time before having them removed.
The myomectomy is like a c-section only instead of a baby you give birth to a gross mass. LOL. I was i the hospital for 2 days after and mostly in bed for about 3-4 weeks. It was very hard to stand up and I needed help showering and even peeing in the beginning. But now that I am healed my periods are less painful and lighter, sex is easier, I have my old energy level back and I am a lot less irritable. DH wishes I had the surgery sooner.
I since switched OBs and she told me that she is glad I opted to take it out. She said that a pregnancy with a fibroid is uncomfortable and even painful and can be dangerous. Basically your body already thinks your slightly pregnant so the chance for the baby to come premature is really high.
Anyhow my suggestion is to seek the opinion of an RE before you commit to surgery.

I had something similar but it was an ovarian mass on the ovary. Had to eventually get it taken out and bc it was so large it wrapped around my right ovary and destroyed it. So it came out. Had a second one on the left ovary a few years later. Had it removed before it took out my last ovary. This is why I went to an RE to begin with to freeze eggs in case I lost my last ovary. the ovary was spared thank god!
BecauseI am down an ovary, i have low AMH and only make a few eggs at a time on IVF. but this is why I am at IVF at this point. this whole thing is so much on us!
