field station dinosaurs review
I took my kids to fsd today. I was able to get tickets via a living social deal for $12 per ticket. My kids enjoyed it. But there is no way that I would be happy paying what they normally ask for admission. The dinosaurs were well done and they move and make noises. There was ample staff though out the exhibit. You need to wear sneakers as it is not paved. The dig area is cute and my kids really enjoyed using the tolls to dig for dinosaurs. The shows were appropriate for ages two to seven. Just as an fyi the bathrooms are portapotties. It felt like this would be a.good traveling exhibit, but as an adult I.was not impressed. The staff members were always helpful and informative. You do end up in the gift shop but I did not feel overmarketed to. Bring your own drinks as drinks were expensive. Overall I would give it a B+, it was good but there is room for improvement. They need better signs describing the dinosaurs and better bathrooms. I would wait for another livingsocial deal as the regular price is way to expensive for what is offered.

Re: field station dinosaurs review
Would you recommend taking a double stroller for a 2yo and 4yo?
We always take our double stroller when going to zoos and theme park type places.

We absolutely loved it there! I traveled with 2 other families, and we were all impressed by the knowledgeable staff, and the presentation of the shows! It was great!
The bathroom in the back near the concession stand is the nicer set of them. They are in a trailer, but the toilets flush, etc.
You can do a double stroller, the trails are wide!

2 and 4 are perfect ages and yes I would bring a double stroller. I had my 3 year old DD in a stroller. My 6 year old walked. Just as an FYI they say that the age for the dig is 3-9 but I know I saw kids that had to be 2 years old in it as well. I had to drag my kids out of that part. They absolutely loved the dig.

My boys are going to love it, especially my 2yo. He is obsessed with dinosaurs. Can't wait to go!

Re: field station dinosaurs review
We just went this weekend too with our living social tickets and we were not impressed at all - the dinosaurs were impressive and I dont know what else I was looking for but I was glad I only paid $12 a ticket and not what they were asking!
