Fighting Sleep
Every time I put my 3 week old down to nap because he's getting sleepy, yawning etc, he'll start to doze but then wake up and cry, like he fights actually falling asleep. I swaddle him because sometimes I think his hands start to flail and gets him all riled up. Anyone have any tips with how to get him over this? Also, I let him cry a little because most of the time, he will stop and fall asleep but I keep reading not to let them cry when they're that age. Is that bad?

Re: Fighting Sleep
I don't think it's bad especially if he's falling asleep... he is obviously fighting the sleep. so long as you don't leave him to cry for 10-20 minutes, I think you're doing a great job.
(BTW, I think they are referring to CIO as opposed to just let them wimper a bit before getting settled)
