Filet Mignon cooking tips?

Okay, I have the meat...

If you have tenderloin, tie a piece of cooking twine around each piece to keep the round shape.

Then pan-sear for 5 minutes in a really hot pan with oil. Then flip the steaks and put them into a 425 degree oven for 5-9 minutes (depending on how well done you like your meat). Take out and let rest for 5 minutes.

It's really yummy.

I just season with salt & pepper (maybe a little garlic powder) and either sear it in a pan w/ a touch of butter and then turn the temp down or grill it on the BBQ. Simple & delicious!
