Finale of Dancing With The Stars
"Finale"
It all comes down to this: a dance-off between the multitalented John O'Hurley (and his partner, Charlotte Jorgensen) and General Hospital star Kelly Monaco (and her partner, Alec Mazo). Each couple will perform its most memorable routine of the series: John and Charlotte will perform their quickstep routine, while Kelly and Alec will reprise their samba. Each couple will also do a freestyle dance which, unlike previous dances, is free of any rules or restrictions. They can perform any lifts or spins they'd like.
And in grand finale fashion, all of the previously eliminated celebrities return to perform one last time!

Though if I had to pick, I'd root for Kelly .. since she made so much progress along the way and I like the underdog

So do I.... He seems like such a natural at it. I also like Kelly bc she's worked so hard and got better every week.

There was a slip up on a morning news show and they kind of told who was going to win. Still, I'm psyched! What time is it on? Do you think they'll do a second season?

I feel like they've been promoting John & Charlotte as the couple to beat so it wouldn't surprise me if Kelly & Alec won.
But I really Like John & Charlotte - they seem to have the whole package with elegance & grace and carry it through even to their expressions.
Kelly has improved tremendously, but I feel like she's not having as much fun with it and she still looks to Alec a lot during the dances.
Either way, I'm glad its down to these 2 couples.
(Joes was entertaining, but he was more focused on the performance than on the dance itself, which I fault his partner with. She could have choregraphed routines that show their skills/basic steps better)

I have a theory. Well, a couple. Kelly was the underdog, so that may have motivated people. Her partner was good eye candy as well. Also, John was on Seinfeld, and I just can't see the average Seinfeld fan being really into reality TV, especially something like this. (I am not a Seinfeld fan myself; this may be me talking out of my azz anyway). Whereas Kelly is on a daytime show and has that fan base that would be pulling for her.
Just silly theories. Now that Deep Throat has been revealed I have a lot of time on my hands.

Kelly definitely has a more established fan base, but how predictable with the judges awarding 10s to the final performance

It's funny, I was rooting for Kelly, because she was the underdog, but I've been thinking about it and it's really not fair that John didn't win. He's been a solid performer from the very beginning. Well Kelly improved drastically, he's been consistantly good and I think that he was the better and most natural dancer overall. I'm kind of disappointed now that he didn't win.
