Finding a babysitter??
For those that go out occasionally on the weeknds and such, I was wondering how did you go about finding a babysitter that you could trust?
Also what is th egoing rate for a Friday or Saturday night?

Through friends and neighbors recommendations. My baby-sitter is a little older, she is a college student...so I pay her $10/hr.

My boss just handed me an article on www.sittercity.com. I found it to be interesting.
I dont know anything about this and this is the first time I ever heard of it.
I am reviewing the site now but maybe you would like to check it out yourself too.

I found mine through DH's friend's wife who also uses her. I pay her $20 an hour, but she is amazing - does all my laundry, makes the beds, cleans up, etc.
