Re: Finding time to workout...
I was just thinking the same thing! I am in the same situation, but I am getting divorced so I feel at a loss for time esp b/c DD is with me mostly all week. I could use the gym daycare but I hate sending her then when I work and she is away from me. I have made a goal to walk 2x a day...hopefully that may make a difference..but the biggest thing is I eat and drink like crap

Re: Finding time to workout...
Yeah it's tough b/c DS is in daycare full time while I work. So I dont want to pick him up from daycare to put him in another "gym" daycare. I ve tried the gym daycare on a wkend and they end up calling me over the loud speaker to get him because he was crying... I guess walking during lunch is a good option. Thanks for responding and I am sorry that your going through a divorce

Re: Finding time to workout...
I work FT and my DS is in DC. My DH is self employed and isn't always home until late. I also don't get home with him until about 6pm. So going to the gym really isn't an option.
We bought an elliptical last winter. I alternate that and yoga DVDs. I work out kind-of late, so it's not really ideal. But it has been paying off and I've dropped 3 clothing sizes.

Re: Finding time to workout...
Havent had time in 2 years! I was a 2 under 2 mom. Now the mom of 2 toddlers with a f/t job, I should be a size 0 just from my life.
I personally know joining a gym would be a big waste of money for me. Once we get a larger home, I plan on making a gym in the basement - I have a lot of my own equipment. It's the only way. DH gets out several times a week for karate, I have had a gift cert for a mani/pedi since early July... still never made it yet. I'm lucky I have time to shower and shave my legs. LOL, but I recognize these days will be over one day and there will be plenty of time again for working out. So I'm trying to enjoy this phase of life w/o getting too stressed about not being a hot-bod mom. I think about all the good in my life and know one day, the time will be there. JMO. another 2 or 3 years I'm thinking.

Re: Finding time to workout...
I should be a size zero too but I'm a lot more than that! !
I just don't have the time or energy. I have a membership to lucille Roberts but my baby isn't walking yet so that's out. I plan to go when she walks...yea right! lol After I put my kids to sleep I'm done! I am BURNT! My 2 middle ones wear me out mentally and physically and I have nothing left to give after 8:00. I don't know what I'm going to do but I have to do something. I look like who did it and ran! I need to exercise, I need the natural endorphins to be relaesed from my brain. It does wonders. Thought about joining planet fitness b/c it's 24 hours....
sorry I was no help.
