Here's the free TV that comes with the triple play package.

Seriously, what is up with you and that TV? Do you work for FiOS? The TV is the smallest thing I have ever seen. It's smaller than my computer screen.
No need to be rude....
And I don't work for FIOS. That TV would work just fine in a Kitchen....

They're coming on Wednesday to install. They said that it could take between 4-6 hours!?!?!?!
Yes, it's a long install. All new cables through out your whole house.

That's where we plan on putting our tv.
We're getting the old cables ripped out and they're rewiring everything. It stinks that they charge you $55 a room to do that though.

Although I am a loyal cable customer and wouldn't switch I have heard both positive and negative things about FIOS.
First and foremost majority of people are switching back to cable even after they go through the long 8 hour install with FIOS. (And if you do decide to switch keep an eye on your installer, there is a lawsuit pending; cable vs. verizon because FIOS techs have been cutting cable lines which will end up costing your more $$ should you decide to switch back to cable).
The 19 inch tv isn't anything special. You could probably buy it for $100 in the store. Plus if you cancel before a year you have to give it back anyway.
Verizon supposedly also has the highest taxes around. (I have never actually seen a bill I've heard they have crazy taxes there was even one for the French and Indian War apparently!).
I've also heard Verizon won't tell you what the increase is after the first year with the Triple Play. That could be scary!
I think most people are switching just to have the opportunity to get away from Cable and Dish. But I also believe people just like every other hype will switch back at some point when they realize Cable isn't going anywhere.
And an FYI to all "cable - haters" FIOS is not going to put cable out of business no matter how hard you pray.

Not that the tv sold me, but here is a 19' Sharp TV at Target for 399.00.
