First Birthday Restaurant
I know this has been asked a million times, but can anyone recommend a restaurant in Queens or Nassau for DD's first birthday party?
Have already called the following and all are booked:
Donovans Il Bacco Jonathans
Called Vivaldi, but they were to expensive.
About 50-60 adults and 10-15 kids, price under $40pp.
Thanks!

Re: First Birthday Restaurant
We just had my FIL's retirement party at The Plattdeusche in Franklin Square - big room, great food and reasonably priced. I think it's definitely worth looking into.

Giardino in Douglaston. They have a private room and the food is really good.

Under $40 without alcohol..Jimmy's Trattoria on Bell does an awesome job, it is over 40 with wine and beer though though they may have a more afforable package.
Riveria in Whitestone has a package with wine and beer that is @ 32 pp i think

Verdi's would not be under 40, maybe without beer and wine...most places I looked at recently were more than 40 w/beer and wine and I looked in Queens

George Martin in Rockville Centre, next to the LIRR station. We had our son's first birthday there last year; we got the whole restaurant for a brunch buffet on a Saturday. $29.95 pp plus tax and tip. Details on their website. Good luck!

Some might be over $40, but I think they're close... City Cellar La Piazza in Merrick Piccola Bussola in Mineola Antonette's or Matteo's - both have multiple locations La Famiglia in Plainview and possibly Diletto's in Westbury- when it was Paparazzi, there was a big party room. Not sure of the minimum to book it.

Re: First Birthday Restaurant
We recently went to a first birthday party at Grimaldi's in Garden City. The food was delicious there was a small area for the clowns to set up and the kids to dance and I believe the cost was very reasonable, definitely under the price you listed.

We had my daughters 1st bday here. Everything was excellent and it was super cheap (about $22pp) and they give you so much.
