First Communion Dresses - Color
Hi
Does anyone know if the first communion dresses are usually white? Or do some kids wear ivory? I have my eye on a linen dress for DD but its ivory..

White only.
ETA: at least in my church we were strictly told so. Maybe you can order the dress in white?

My daughters is diamond white. It's silk so it can't be very white....and to answer the question it can be white or off white as long as you like it

I was going to say that linen white should be OK because, although it is not true white, its close enough. However, ivory linen, IMO, would look to yellow and definitely stand-out.

Check with your church. Mine requires white. Ivory not permitted.
