minnie themed first birthday..color?
90% sure I am doing Minnie 1st birthday party for DD in December
But as I am researching and playing around with ideas on Etsy and Pinterest - I see both pink and black and red and black...
part of me wants pink bec it is too cute and she wears and has a lot of pink stuff
part of me wants red bec that is the original minnie and bec it is December near Christmas
can't decide

minnie themed first birthday..color?
Pink is the color Minnie wears on the Mickey Mouse clubhouse. I think DD is going to be Minnie for Halloween and I am having the same internal debate - do I go pink or red? I am leaning toward (and voted for) pink!

DD is dressing as Minnie for Halloween, and is wearing red. When I saw the pink Minnie costumes, I was like, "minnie doesn't wear pink!" but then I realized that was her outfit from MMCH. My DD is only 3.5 months old, so we're not watching much TV yet! I'm a purist though, so I vote for red!

I voted for red & white for a few reasons...
Soooooo many are doing MMCH pink lately.
I prefer the traditonal colors
Id like it even more with it near Christmas. You'll maybe even find holiday theme disney stuff for favors, decor accents, etc.
I just did the red, white, black, yellow party for my 2yo...LOVED IT!
I only posted a few pics...

I like traditional Minnie, so I picked Red & black.
DD is being Minnie for Halloween.. my amazingly talented cousin made it for her and we decided to go red & black.

We did a pink and black Minnie party for DD. She LOVES "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" and Minnie wears pink for that. Also, if you get stuff at Party City, all the Minnie cups, napkins, plates, streamers, etc. are pink. Make your life easier and do pink!

I did Pink and black for dd b/c that what she knows since Minnie wers pink now.
She's being minnie for Halloween and I got the pink even though I LOVED the red costume but again she knows minnie in pink

love traditional red and white minnie.
i did mickey and minnie for my twins birthday party and loved the red minnie. it can be harder to find stuff but i LOVE the traditional minnie.

How fun!!!! The pink IS cute, but red is traditional. Let me know if you need my cricut machine for anything. I don't have a Mickey Mouse cartridge (yet) but it can cut circles if you need/want to make anything.
ETA: Oh and I voted for red and black
