First Dental Appointment
Anyone do this yet, or give any thought to it?
I'm thinking of taking them separately so they don't hear each other scream and cry and scare one another.

Re: First Dental Appointment
I took my 3 year old and they did not do anything to make him scream. If he didn't like what they were doing they stopped.
I think you will be fine taking them together.

Re: First Dental Appointment
That's a good idea! I was going to wait until 3. They don't even let me check their teeth.

Re: First Dental Appointment
There is a great dentist here in Mass. that my cousins rave about! Let me know if you want their info! This is where we'll take Jack someday!

Re: First Dental Appointment
My ped said 3, and I have to make an appointment. My regualr dentist said that the best thing to do is start bringin them with you, so they get comfy with it.

Re: First Dental Appointment
My girls just had their first appt. They are 4 1/2 so I guess I was a bit late but Im glad I waited because my girls did great.
I bought book Elmo goes to the Dentist and I swear...the experience was the same as the book. The dental hygenist was fantastic with the girls and one of my daughters has sensory issues and even she did great. GOOD LUCK. I would advise you to wait. No real need for a 3 year old to go to the dentist in my opinion
