first dentist appt this morning lol

DD had her first dentist appt this morning...she just turned 3.

it was interesting to say the least.
the assistant came in first...DD would not sit in the chair, so i sat in it so she could sit on me. then it was about 15min of trying to get her to open her mouth so she could get her teeth counted...she sort of did it because she wanted to pick a prize from the drawer.
then the dentist comes in...i know him well say Hi Dr. Carr! Mya this is who Na (Grandma) comes to see! she refuses to open her mouth again...after another 10min and telling her that the prize drawer only opens after she shows Dr. Carr her teeth she opens them for about 2 seconds.
so she gets her prize...she picks a teeny tiny bunny eraser...i tell her its not a treat its a toy.
driving to walmart to get her passport pic updated and i hear chewing...pull into my dads work parking lot run out of the car open her door and she was eating the eraser because she thought it was a treat
i take what i can get out of her mouth and take the rest away...she was upset. needless to say we just went home...i was not up for trying to get her to sit for a picture after that!

i do have a half eaten bunny eraser for her memory box now though
