First IUI scheduled for tomorrow ... and there's a blizzard. **UPDATE** (scroll down)
I can't believe this. My DH is supposed to bring his collection at 8 a.m. tomorrow, and I am scheduled for the IUI at 10 a.m. What are we going to do if the roads are treacherous?!  Do we risk driving? (him there and back, and me there and back - separately - since one of us has to stay home with DD).
I know we have to wait till the morning to see, but I am so stressed about it. I do NOT want another month to go by.  I took Clomid and Ovidrel ... I am so very ready for this. Ugh, what bad timing of things.
I guess all I can do is  that the roads are driveable.

Maybe start BD'ing now and do it again tomorrow once or twice and Monday Am as well?

If we don't make it there tomorrow morn, we'll definitely BD tomorrow and the next couple of days! But I'm reluctant to do it tonight (even though timing wise it makes sense) bc if we DO get to go tomorrow, I don't want it to mess with DH's supply, KWIM?

I hear ya. If I was that worried though I would cancel the IUI and just stick with Bding (so long as you're not dealing with male factor, that is) due to the timing.

Can you call the doc on call and ask them if you can schedule it for say, 10am drop off and a 12pm IUI? That way it gives them a little time to plow the roads?

This past cycle I took a home ovulation test in the morning said it was negative. Meanwhile later in the day I went to have blood drawn, between the time they called and when I got home, DH and I bd. Than the next morning we had an iui the next morning at 6:00 am and dh count was 14.6 and I'm pg now. So that two day rule doesn't always apply. I say bd tomorrow and if your comfortable with it bd tonight.

Good luck!!! I hope you are able to get there tomorrow, just be careful and don't risk it if the roads are really bad.
I agree with the BD'ing plan....esp. since you took your meds this month and your body is ready to go!

Just figured I'd update. I have been in touch with the answering service since 7:15 a.m. and neither of us can get in touch with the lab. She has tried 8 different numbers, and no one is answering.
Obviously, I am not sending DH out in these conditions if no one is there! So, now we are just sitting around and waiting to see if/when they arrive. Good times.

Update #2 - Just finally got in touch with someone at the lab. DH will aim to get there at 9 a.m. with the IUI probably at 11.
