First IUI tomorrow....
So I got my trigger shot this morning and am going in tomorrow morning for the IUI. I have 3-4 mature follies. Trying to stay positive, hope all goes well. Very nervous about the sperm count and everything else!!

That's great! You are tripling or quadrupling your chances! The IUI will be a breeze. Are you bringing your sample in or doing it there?

bringing one in and that is what is making me so nervous! just getting it there on-time, worrying about DH's count, worrying that there won't be any issues producing (hard for him in the morning & when on the spot). Also, how to carry it there - I am bringing in myself. We live about 20-25 minutes from the place without traffic, so I'm a nervous wreck!!
Any tips for any of my fears, please pass along!! Thanks!!!

LOL you'll be fine. We produce at home and bring it in, we're about 20 minutes away also. As long as it's there within the hour, you're fine. I actually put the cup in my bra between my boobs and then zip my coat up so it stays warm and doesn't move. I'm sure his count will be great! As far as any production issues, just give him a hand (or mouth  ) and he'll be fine.
One question though, I thought the DH had to bring it in himself legally? Can you bring it there for him? My DH has to sign the paperwork affirming that its his...

We signed paperwork in front of the staff that basically said that I, as his wife, can drop off his sample. I would think that is sufficient. A friend of mine used the same RE and I recall her saying that DH does not even have to go. I don't want him to miss work, at least not this first time. If my IF issues increase, we will probably need to take time off in the coming months!!

Hey there... I brought DH's sample in myself. Stuck it in my bra and drove like a bat out of heck. Got there an hour later, ran in trying to give sample to anyone who would take it just to get it to where it needed to go  . Sperm count was 45 million. So I am sure you will do a lot better than I did!

PS - I also stuck it in my bra, zipped up my jacket and wrapped a scarf around the area to make sure to keep warm!!

When I had gotten PG, I used the arm pit. Sadly, my boobs were not the "warming" kind. I live 2 miles (5-10 minutes tops) from where we go, but in the am, traffic at NSUH going down Community drive can really make a person sweat.
