first IUI-unsuccessful
Hi ladies,
Just a quick update. My first IUI did not work. I was very stressed out this cycle and need to just relax. Stopped taking my progesterone gel yesterday and last night got my AF so onto cycle 2. Actually if I play my cards right I will either be having my next IUI on Thanksgiving! lol or the next day. Anyways thank you all for your support and help throughout this whole process. The ladies on here really are wonderful and give great advice so thank you!

So sorry! Sending hugs and baby dust! I also had my first around the same time. I won't find out until wed. I def. understand the stress piece better now.

In the same boat- got AF early and so heavy! Are you going straight to round two? I'm going to doc now but not sure if I should wait or go right on to the next.

I would keep going! Day 10 will be Sunday november 22nd so that's when they are starting blood and sono again. Then my second IUI will be a few days later..But I wouldn't wait. Keep moving forward!

There's no medical reason to take time off between IUIs. IVF is different.

Sorry you didn't have beginners luck. Sending positive vibes for next time.
I also recently had my first IUI and go for my beta on Friday. I was feeling pretty optimistic too until this morning when I read that progesterone gel can cause pregnancy-like symptoms. Now I'm just anticipating bad news.
