First IVF
My baseline is scheduled for 4/17.
Are there things we can do to help this along. Wives Tales, etc.
How hard is it giving the shots to yourself, because I am honestly dreading it and DH travels for work to often to rely on him to do it. Not to mention the site of a needle sends him over.

Great news! Good luck to you!!!
There are soooooooo many old wives tales, and things you can find that are "supposed" to help. From eating pineapple core, eating a lot of avocado and sweet potatoes, drinking grape juice, tons of supplements, acupuncture, keeping your feet warm. yoga...so many things. It comes down to what your IF issue is and what you believe in. Most of those things don't hurt, and if it's going to give you hope...then why not :)
ETA: the shots are really not bad once you get through the first one. I did the PIO ones in the butt myself too. Dh did a couple bc he wanted to feel more a part of it.

Good luck! The shots are a piece of cake, you will do fine! Try and relax as much as possible!!!!

The only shot I had a hard time injecting was the very first one. After that, it was no big deal.

I hate the shots, two IVFs later but this board has helped me get through it! Cheers to a good cycle and cooperative ovaries!
