Re: First Mommy Post
welcome Christy, it does get better with time... ds is 3 months and I still put my hand on his belly from time to time just to make sure he is breathing... I guess you just never stop worrying when you are a mom...

Hello Ladies, I am crossing over to this side now. I gave birth to Isabella Grace on Friday night and I already have my first question...
When will I be able to sleep and not worry if she is breathing or not? So far Isabella sleeps all night, I wake her for feedings. I know when she sleeps I should but I basically stare at her to make sure she is okay. I even keep my hand on her at times to see she is breathing. When will this get better?
First of all.. Congrats and Welcome!
DS is 3 month old. I still check his breathing. I don't know if it ever stops.

Re: First Mommy Post
Congratulations!!!
My guess is you'll be able to sleep without worrying about breathing when they're walking (about a year).
Then when they're 17 & can drive, not for another 10 years I would imagine.

Congratulations!!
Welcome to mommy hood.. I don't think you'll ever stop worrying.. I have my DS in a bassinet next to me and when I don't hear when he sometimes makes noises breathing or him moving I put my hand on his chest or I try to listen to him breathe..
