First night of our new bedtime routine...

We just came back from NY, and DD adjusted well to sleeping in a strange place...so we figured what better night to start her sleeping in the crib?

We've decided to start her on a nightly routine, since she tends to go to bed anytime between 6:30 and 10 We gave her a bath, I nursed her, took her into her room and read her a story. DH put her down in her crib, we both kissed her goodnight, and left the room.

We heard her "talking" on the monitor for about 10 minutes, but she never got upset. DH checked on her about an hour later and she was fast asleep, and has been for about an hour.

We are so thrilled, we were really expecting some resistance.

The night went really well! She woke up at 3 to eat (she went down at 9:30), around 6 just to be comforted (that's her new thing) and then finally woke up for the day at 9:30! I'd say the crib is a success!

DH has been on me to get DD in her crib, I'm trying to push it another few weeks
