First OBGYN Appt Today - Question
I have my first OBGYN appointment today. I've been seeing a RE until now.
What should I expect from today's appointment? What will they be checking for? Is there anything I should ask?
I just wanted to what to expect/ask before I went in today.

First OBGYN Appt Today - Question
How many weeks are you?
My 1st appt was at 6 and a half weeks and they only did a sonogram to make sure it was a viable pregnancy.
My 2nd appt was at 9 weeks and they did another sono, plus took tons of blood to check for genetic problems and make sure I'm immune to certain illnesses.
They also took my weight and blood pressure at both appts. Good luck!

at my OB, they do a full annual exam (unless you have had one within 9 months) including pap.
also and internal U/S and then you meet with the doc, chat for about 20 minutes about the dos and donts, expectations etc.

already had all the immune bloodwork done, so i'm sure i won't need to do that again.
I guess it will be more of a checkup and to go over the do's and don'ts then

The usual weight, blood pressure and she did a regular check-up exam (including pap smear) and also did an internal sonogram/heartbeat. She then sat with us in her office and let us ask questions.

I just had mine last week.
I had to pee in a cup, get weighed, and have my bp taken.
Then the dr talked to us in her office, gave us TONS of paper work, including info on the hospital we're delivering at, nutrition stuff, how to get in touch during an emergency, etc, and she let us ask questions. She also gave me the paperwork to have my NT scan done (at 12 weeks) since I have to go to a separate lab for that. And I have to take my own blood and send it in beforehand...ouch.
Then I had 6 vials of blood taken. Some results they were able to use from the RE, but some had to be redone. Then she did a regular exam - breast and pap. And last, but not least, I had an u/s to see my little baby again! 
Since you've been seeing an RE it's actually not that nerve-wracking since you've already seen and heard the hb. But it's fun, nonetheless!
