First time mommies - due date question...
This may be a really stupid question because I guess it really is different for every person but, I just found out that my dr. will be away for 10 days and not returning until 4 days before my due date. Barring any complications, should I be worried about going before this? Is this a good possibility? Also, is there anything I can do when the time comes to keep my little guy in there?
TIA!

unfortunately, there's nothing you can do... the baby will come when he/she wants to.. since you are due in the summer months all i can suggest is drink lots and lots and LOTS of water so that you wont' dehydrate causing premature contractions!

Re: First time mommies - due date question...
Due dates are just rough guesses. It's possible that no matter what you do, your Dr. is on a boat ride with his brother at the time you go to the hospital, or he is sick, or even delivering another baby down the hall. That's why DW's office made sure we saw all the Drs there, since we wouldn't be able to guarantee which one would do the actual delivery.
