first world problem

i was "bold" and took a leap of faith. i got my eyebrows microbladed almost two weeks ago.

Chat Icon
they didn't take. my eyebrows look the same as they did the day i walked in to the salon.

i've had permanent makeup done before. i know that it fades over time and isn't really permanent. but this didn't even last two weeks.

the touch up is supposed to be four weeks out from when it's done, so she won't see me until then... even though i told her that i'm right back where i was before i saw her.

poor me.

so today, i'm right back to coloring my little bald spot on my left eyebrow lol

any other first world problems out there?
please share. help me feel a little less pathetic lol

first world problem

Since I'm not driving to the office, I don't run my truck through the car wash a few times a week, so now it's all dusty (not dirty because I'm not really driving it anywhere).

first world problem

It's just been one of those weeks

Can't get the water in the pool to clear up - have tried everything and it's still cloudy

The light in the pool went out and has to be changed

The landscaper who broke my window won't return my call or text

Was notified a package was delivered, but it wasn't - it went to an address somewhere upstate and I've had to contact the company numerous times and so far it's still not resolved.

Ugh! lol

Re: first world problem

I went for a walk last night on the boardwalk in Long Beach and have a mosquito bite on the top of my right wrist. It itches a lot and is driving me crazy.

Last year our pool turned to milk. It looked like 15,000 gallons of 1% milk, I swear to God. Not just cloudy. White.
We tried everything. Shocking it, back washing the filter, running it night and day, algaecides, getting the water tested. Nothing worked.
I couldn't get a pool service to come since we don't have a contract with anyone and they were all booked up.
But one guy was kind enough to respond to my email and said we should try taking the filter apart and rinsing out the "fingers" in there that the DE runs through. Sure enough they were all clogged up. DH hosed them down really good with a strong spray from the hose, put the whole thing back together, added D.E. etc and it cleared right up.
That might be your issue. Those fingers get clogged up and don't filter well anymore.

Thanks - I had someone come and do that. Nothing changed Chat Icon . I added flocculent last night (it's a drastic last resort measure that is supposed to cause EVERYTHING to settle on the bottom of the pool within 24-48 hrs) and the pool guy is coming Sat to vacuum it up (IF the chemical does what it's supposed to)

Wow. Crazy.
I'd love to see what settles to the bottom though after that. Chat Icon

The thing is, the pool is CLEAN! I run the robot and nothing comes up (and it's a brand new robot -because the old one broke this week too Chat Icon Chat Icon ). The chemical reading is perfect. It's soooo frustrating!
