Fish Buying Question
Do you think if I buy fish at the Grand Central Market and bring it on the train home - 40 minute train ride, that it will smell on the train? I'm sure they'll pack it good, I just don't want to stink up the car!

You will be fine. I have done this before. If the fish starts to stink after 40 mins then you havent gotten a fresh piece of fish.

You'll be fine. My husband does this sometimes and he has a longer ride. Just make sure they pack it properly.
