Flat Spot
Does anyone's DC have a flat spot on the back of their head? What did you have to do for it?

Re: Flat Spot
Yes DS had a flat spot b/c he gained weight very quickly. Dr said that the weight was being distributed heavily on his head and butt when he was laying flat. Dr said to do tummy time as much as possible and keep him in a sitting up position to relieve the weight on the back on his head. Eventually it started to round out and will continue to round out as he grows.

Re: Flat Spot
Em started to get one - so we got the boppy noggin nest and put that in her carseat and got a second one for her swing...so anytime she's in those items (where she spends MOST of her time) - she's got the 'protection'.

we used to put a recieving blanket under one shoulder when ds was in the swing or bouncy seat and rotated which way he laid.
