Flea/tick prevention in pill form?
I've used Frontline for years on my dogs - but my current dogs fur doesn't seperate very easily leaving most of the liquid on his fur. I'd love to find a pill instead? Any suggestions? I also give him Heartgard for heartworm prevention.
TIA!

sentinel flavor tabs prevent heartworm and fleas.
eta: capstar is also in pill form but it looks like it's only for fleas, not ticks.

don't use just sentinel. My dog was on it and still got fleas. It repels them but doesn't kill them.

i use frontline with it. sentinel is only for adult fleas, doesnt kill the eggs.
i dont think there are any pills on the market for both fleas and ticks that actually works.

My mom was telling me about Comfortis. She has 6 animals and lives in FL. She said this year was the first year she didn't have to bomb the house because this medicine works so well. I think it is pricey though.

I have this same issue but the product always seems to work. Just messy, I hate that.
