what type of flooring do you have in your kitchen? if you have pics, that would be great!! thanks
***Our kitchen will have a sliding glass door, so I need something that will hold up!

Ceramic tile (old kitchen pic but kept the tile when we renovated -- don't have new pics yet of the full kitchen):

Tumbled Travertine. Sorry, no pic of the tile in my kitchen, but here's a pic from the web. Same color and pattern as mine, but my grout lines are a little narrower. Image Attachment(s):

Re: flooring in kitchen
We have yet to get to our kitchen, but underneath the disgusting linoleum we have solid oak wood floors. I love wood floors, but I think for the kitchen we are going to go with tile. My ILs had ceramic tiles (granted they were the cheap kind and chipped) they stood up well going in and out of the backdoor. They have since added to the back of the house extending the kitchen and put in the fake wood floors. I forget what they are called.
