Florida in February
We are looking to vacation somewhere in Florida this Febuary - South Beach, Key West, Gulf Coast - but are concerned about the weather.
I looked it up on weather.com and it looks like the weather isn't that warm.
Any experts out there?
Also, if you had to pick a Florida destination where would you go?
We are pretty laid back and are looking for a nice beachy /pool vacation with good restaurants.

Re: Florida in February
February is great. It's warm. It's about low 80's. It's still great beach weather. The water may be a bit cool, but it's still nice to walk along the beach or even just have a nice little rest on a blanket and read a good book.
I love Sarasota. A lot of great shops, restuarants, people, events, and Siesta Key is the number 2 beach in the US. It's amazing. They have a lot of great little villa's on the beach you can rent. Not sure of the rates though.
Other great areas on the southwest part (on the gulf side) is Naples, Sanible, and Captiva. Marco Island is also very relaxing.

Re: Florida in February
I've been to FL in February a couple times, and it's always been nice and warm. 70s-low 80s, depending on the year. We were in the Tampa/Clearwater area, and Orlando. I imagine it'd be even warmer further south.
