Flying at 26 weeks?
My boss's boss just announced an off-site strategic planning meeting for June when I'll be roughly 26 weeks along. I will have to fly in for the meeting. Can I still fly? What has your doctor recommended as the cut off for flying while PG?

my dr. told me 33 weeks cut off for flying, but every dr. is different....

I few to NY at 28 weeks for Christmas. When I was PG with DS my doc said I couldn't fly after 33 weeks.

I was allowed to fly until 36 weeks barring complications. I flew around 26 weeks to Florida to visit family and it was uncomfortable...nothing major, just not comfortable. I stopped flying after that.

my doctor told me 28 weeks, but said it was fine that i went to florida last week at 32 weeks.

My doctor said no flying after 36 weeks - I would talk to your doctor and see if he/she gives you the ok. I would think that 26 weeks is fine - you might be uncomfortable - but if your blood pressure and other stats check out ok, then you should be fine.

I am going away at 26 weeks also but we have'nt decided if we are going to fly or drive I am going to south carolina which is about a 11 hour car ride and 1 and half hour plane ride.
What do you ladies suggest? I am leaning towards flying I don't think I could take sitting in a car for eleven hours

I would fly instead of driving for 11 hours.

OMG- flying!!! WHY would you put yourself through an 11 hour drive?
