folic acid/metanx
girls...does anyone take more than the recommened amount of folic acid? If so, did it make you sick? or are you ok?
Anyone also taking metanx?
i am not prego yet but due to me having the mthfr gene mutations (2copies) my doc suggested i take 2mgs on top of my prenatal - citranatal assure dha...(which has 1mg) He also suggested i take metanx instead of the folic when we decide we are ready to ttc - so the extra folic acid is what i am to take for now....
i am also taking vit d as well as a baby asprin for now....

i take metanx and feel no side effects from it. i also take a baby aspirin and vitamin d. i have 1 copy (if i remember correctly) of the mthfr gene.
