How much dairy does your child eat?

Jordana is 14 months and she has 2 8 oz cups of milk a day and usually a yogurt/cottage cheese and a string cheese.

I was just wondering what if this is too much? Thanks.

DD is 15 months, has 2 cups of milk/day... I make her 9oz, she usually drinks most of them.
Some cheese and usually a yogurt drink.

When we consulted with the pediatric nutrionist, she told us that a toddler should get 2-3 servings of dairy per day (a serving is equivalent to a cup of milk). Too much dairy can inhibit the absorbtion of minerals and vitamins, so we try to be careful about Alex's dairy intake, because if she had her way, she'd eat yogurt for every meal Chat Icon

Alex gets one serving of yogurt in the morning, and drinks about one cup of milk per day, and once in a while, has a slice of cheese.

Lauren has a 6 oz sippy of milk with every meal (so 18 oz of milk). She's on a yogurt bann, so I give her grilled cheese every now and then... That's about, except of course when its in other foods.

DD gets about 24-26oz of milk/day. Our ped had told us that at her age she can have up to 30oz of milk/day. I was quite shocked at that especially after reading here what other moms give their DC. In terms of other dairy products- it isn't consistent on a daily basis (i.e. cheese, yogurt, etc.)

DD gets a 7 oz bottle in the morning, 5 oz at 11am for nap, lunch i cut out yogurt becuase seh wants to self feed and it makes a mess. give her a 5 oz bottle around 3-4pm feed her dinner then give another bottle around 830 of 5 oz. olivia loves cheese so i give it to her when she asks and rarely we give her ice cream.
