Food Truck Rave!
I read on facebook the other day about a Cuban food truck that hangs around Levittown. It's called Rollin' Cubans and I was able to try it tonight and it was delicious! I can never find good Cuban food on LI and for a food truck, it was very good! I follow them on facebook now and they post every morning where they will be that day. Lately they've been in the old Kmart parking lot on Hempstead Tpke.

I had the pork with white rice, black beans, and sweet plantains. HUGE portion for $10 and it came with a soda or water. It also came with yucca but I don't like yucca so I asked for my plate without it. It wasn't as good as my abuela's but it was pretty damn close! DH had a couple of empanadas which he said were decent but we live right by Island Empanadas (also a great place!) and he prefers IE's over the trucks's.
I want to try the Ropa Vieja next and see how it compares to my dad's!

I LOVE island empanadas my DD loves their plaintain and cheese one!
