I had a good cry for you guys this morning.
Gerty, we've been on this journey together ever since I came on board the IF board. You are one of the most phenomenal people I've ever "met", and I want you to know that I am keeping you, DH and Rogan in my thoughts and prayers.

Gerty and family,
I am heart-broken. Your little guy touched all of us so deeply, and will forever be in our hearts, minds and souls. Why do things like this happen? Why is life so truly unfair at times? Please know that we are always here for you. Thinking about you. Praying for you. Hoping that in time, your heart will start to heal a little bit...day by day. I pray for the soul of baby Rogan. May he join all the other beautiful angels in Heaven, and watch over you- his mommy , his daddy, and all of his family.

Gerty & Dan,
There are no words that can take away the pain and hurt you are going through now. I hope that one day you can take comfort in knowing that although Rogan never got to leave a footprint on this earth...he has left an everlasting footprint in our hearts. Rogan experienced so much love in his short existence....love that some people never experience in their entire lifetime. That is truly amazing. God has a very special angel with him now.
I know sometimes things happen that are beyond our understanding and your little boy being called to heaven is one of those things that I will never understand. I can only pray that God give you guys the strength to go on and that you can find a peace that surpasses all understanding. I will continously keep you guys in my prayers.

Although I don't know you personally, my heart is breaking for you and your family. I cannot even imagine what you must be going through right now. I pray to the Lord that he blesses you with love and strength as you continue through this difficult process. I pray for your beautiful son, Rogan, as he enters Heaven.
