For BTDT moms regarding BF to bottle...
Everyone said the transition to the bottle would take a while. DH has been giving DD bottles for over a month now. We started with one bottle when I went back to work part-time. I have been back two weeks full-time now, so now it's two. It has been a battle. She wants no part of it. There has been days where in over eight hours of my being gone she only had about three ounces. It could take him over an hour of her crying to get her to drink. We have tried every bottle out there. Is it normal that this would take this long? By the way, on two rare occasions she has taken the bottle without a problem, which leads me to believe she just doesn't want to do it!!! Should I stop BF and just bottle feed exclusively? I don't really want to do that to her, especially her bed and morning feedings. She is 4 mos.

Has DH tried giving her the bottle while he rocks on a rocking chair? It may sound silly but that has worked for my husband with my DD. She is now 10 months and is still breast fed but while at work she is bottle fed by grandma and then DH. He always got her to drink and take a nap while she was on the rocking chair.
