Re: For fun - pregnancy symptoms
I don't think mine were that weird, but definitely annoying!!
I had horrendous cankles.
I also had the super human sense of smell and wanted to die my first trimester when I took the subway every day in the blazing heat. All I smelled was B.O.
I also did not want red meat but craved bagels - specifically toasted cinnamon raisin with cream cheese!!

My love affair with hot wings and extra hot sauce.
My disgust at the smell of turkey cooking or roasted chicken, which I am still getting over.
Drooling

With DS: I wanted all carbs! Bagels, Pizza, Cereal, and Ice Cream!
With DD: I was so sick, I wanted nothing but ginger ale. Ohhh and my sense of smell was awesome! LOL I smelled everything!

CHOCOLATE MILK!!!!
I went through a gallon of milk every other day and 2 things of chocolate syrup. I couldn't get enough of it!
I always knew I was pregnant because I would have the strangest urges to chug milk out of the carton!
My strangest pregnancy issue was my ears started itching furiously. I still have it to this day. One time I scrated them so hard with qtips that I had to go to the Dr and her little tool thing got stuck in my ear

Re: For fun - pregnancy symptoms
A sudden aversion to all red meat. I even had a hard time walking down the meat section of the supermarket
A dark linea negra...I had never heard of this until I got it.
A swollen whoo-ha
CRAZY pizza cravings. I once ate 6 slices in one sitting and the cheese off the other 2 slices

Re: For fun - pregnancy symptoms
OK, weird.....I would have spontaneous orgasms....I would literally wake up from a dead sleep having one.
Not the worst symptom you could ever have but certainly weird and it certainly caught me off guard.
OB said it happens more than you would think.
That and every time I walked passed the seafood case in the supermarket, I would dry heave the rest of the way down the frozen food aisle from the raw fish.

ME TOO! I thought it was b/c I was pregnant/gave birth during the hottest summer in the world - but its definitely a "different" smell. Gross.

Re: For fun - pregnancy symptoms
I hated any type of meat.
The thought of taking a shower made me want to cry. I dreaded it every day ( but still did it dont worry LOL )
I had INSANE sex dreams the entire pregnancy, I even have them now though - I can't believe how early I was thinking about it!

Re: For fun - pregnancy symptoms
Oh this is fun... With Teddy I vomited from month 3 until 2 hours AFTER he was born.... !!!
With Andrew....being hot. I would sweat like nobodies business. I would open the windows in the Living room (next to teddys room) and he would wake up shivering saying... "Money IT COLD". LOL

Milk! OMG ... I drank a GALLON a day! Gross! But it just tasted sooo goood! DH got in the habit of picking up a gallon on his way home from work each day LOL. He bought one home after the baby was born, out of habit, and I was like, there's still one in there hahaha
