For Parents that work nights
besides going out - how do you keep your child quiet during the day?
My DH 'worked' last night and now is sleeping. I can't just leave the house yet, but Ali is like a lunatic today - dancing, singing, jumping around, etc
Its not like I can tell her shhhhh - daddys sleeping - cause I honestly think when I do tell her that she gets louder so he wakes up
Any advice?

Get your husband a sound machine to use in your room. That's what my husband does!

Re: For Parents that works nights
I work nights sometimes and I don't think anything makes sleeping better for me until DS is out of the house.
I hear everything he does -- but DH tries to keep him quiet sometimes. He'll put on Nemo, or color with him, play with play-doh, read books.
They are all just temporary fixes - my DS never stays quiet for long! I usually turn on the TV and fan to drown it out.
