Not worth it IMO..(knock on wood; don't want to jinx myself) the phone insurance with iPhones is different than other phones.. not only are you paying monthly for something you may never need (AT&T uses Mobile Connect which charges you $11.99 a month), you also have to pay a deductible to replace the phone..(for iPhone 4, it's $199)
you're better off taking your chances and in the event it's stolen, which stinks, you are a$$ed out or can file a claim with your renters/homeowners or just sell it broken and you'll get a good amount for it.
I sold an old 2g that was cracked and got $200 bucks for it.

we got it for SO's phone. the man can break ANYTHING.
his old blackberry died when he was in a motorcycle vs minivan accident. he's got the biggest, baddest case for it plus the insurance.

this is exactly what I was going to say. I have the insurance bc I didn't think about the math when I got it but may try to cancel it.
