For people with pets that shed, what type of vaccum do you have?
I need a new one and I hate the one I have (Shark). I feel like it doesnt pick up all the dog hair. Luckly I only have 1 area rug in my house but once the baby starts to crawl I really dont want so much hair on the floor.

We have a Eureka which is pretty good. I think windtunnel has a model with an indicater light that lets you know when everything was vacuumed.

Dyson, I have two cats. Works pretty well. I like the extension, its really flat so I can get under the furniture.

Electrolux. I really like it, but I think it was pricey (around $850). I got it as a gift... I could never spend that much on a cleaning product...

I have Roomba, which is great on my Hardwood floors, but stinks on carpet.
I use a rubber squeegie like thing to comb my carpet and pick up the dog hair in a big pile. But I only have one carpeted room and the stairs.
Now I have a cleaning service, so here's hoping they have some great vacuums!!

Dyson Low Reach...love it!!
And with Arm & Hammer's Pet Fresh...nothing gets left behind. It even gets stains. Highly recommend the powder!

I have the Hoover Fusion and love it! It's a knock off of the Dyson, sold only at Walmart/Sams Club...but it's sooo much cheaper!
I have three dogs and a cat and it always pulls all the hair up.

we have a bagless by bissel that is GREAT! it really picks up everything, and part of it detaches to become a canister vaccum, which is nice and easy to carry down to do the basement...
and i really like the bagless idea- you just empty the little thing into the trash can and you're good to go

dyson. i hate it. Its so bulky it doest fit in the corners where the hair goes. i know theres an attachment but that seems like too much work.
i like the light cheap electric brooms the best for non carpeted rooms.
