For Rachel ---- Post pics of "Traditional" looking kitchens.....
...her post got me thinking about the things I'd want in a kitchen.
I'd think I'd want to go traditional also, and for me that means white/cream simple cabinets (nothing too ornate), some simple tile as a backsplash, wood counter-tops, some glass cabinets to display some nicer items, etc.
Here are some pics that had elements I like.

I love antique white kitchens!
If I could do it over again, I would definitely go w/ white! (We did cherry - but more of a brown color)...

This is a TERRIBLE picture, but my kitchen is sort of a shaker style, cream cabinets, wood(like) counter and all the appliances are integrated. (the first one is one from when the kitchen was painted)
And the rest are of my integrated appliances.
(and yes, I have a tiny Fridge, I live in England. This is the norm. Can you believe it??? And I do all my laundry in the kitchen)

We just realized today that we really do need to rip our kitchen out and start from scratch, so this is particularly helpful.

as if, my kitchen is normally much messier than that. I think that was taken when the kitchen was painted in November.
The breadbox was an ebay find, my husband won't let me keep bread in it as he thinks its haunted! So it holds laundry detergent!
