For real - this P.E. teacher needs help!!!
I feel sooo.... hmmm.... gross. After 3 children I dont have the body I once did. I also dont fit into any of my old clothes. I ALSO teach P.E. So I wear warm ups like every single day with a polo shirt. I feel like such a man
I want to feel sexy again. I have been starting with weight loss, which is going great. Id like to get my hair cut. I have very long straight blonde hair with no bangs. I have a perfect part where you see my skin LOL I feel like I should be in an episode of the Brady bunch. I also recently noticed permanent lines in my forehead. My first real wrinkles. Im thinking maybe Ill have bangs cut??? I need a CHANGE!!! Are perms still in LOL
I wear no makeup every day. Im sure the stuff I have is expired LOL I wouldnt even know how to really put it on. I want to go to makeup classes LOL
I wear Black Samabas every day. I wear a black jacket my husband bought from SAMS club (yes a mans jacket) every day.
I NEED HELP ladies. What should I do with my hair? Whats in in terms of fashion?
I just bought my first pair of boots just now ($70 off) and a nice fitted black pea coat with hood ($150 off) Believe it or not... I dont even know if Ill be able to walk in heels! HELP me!! LMAO! I want to feel SEXY again!
Jacket Boots
Look, I have the same hair cut my mom had before I was born!!

for starters..you have beautiful hair and from that pic..don't look....aged haha.
A change to hair may help...say some layers and a side bang..the one that swoops over one eye..with some angles.

You are SO pretty!!! A little bit can go a long way. A refreshing trip, some neutral make up and a new outfit or two even if it it school wear.

OK...I thought that was the same person on the pictures!
And if that's what you look like with no make-up...you don't need any! You're gorgeous.

I really think I want some sort of bangs. Was considering cutting my hair some too?

Re: For real - this P.E. teacher needs help!!!
how about a visit to Sephora or MAC? You can go to either place and have one of the makeup experts make suggestions for you based on your color and what you want (as far as a lot or a little of makeup) and you would be surprised just how much a new hair style can change your look.
BTW, you are very pretty, you have a natural beauty, you will have no problem at all

Thank you so much I am going to go for a hair cut. Im just not sure what to do, who to go to. Im hoping if I go to cactus and ask for something trendy they'll hook me up.
As for makeup...It doesnt look the same when I do it. I wish there were classes LOL At least maybe they could help me pick out colors.

Re: For real - this P.E. teacher needs help!!!
You sound like me...only I'm no longer a working PE Teacher
But I was a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, corporate fitness center director & then was a PE teacher......so I know what it's like to have a closet of warm-ups!!!! You have to consider your lifestyle for what you want to invest in. As a SAHM I have my "home" clothes, errand clothes, & date night clothes.
For me, it was important to NOT wear that stuff on weekends, unless I was working out! You know they do have some cute work outfits
Invest in some good jeans, flats, nice coat, maybe some scarfs and you can feel complete even running errands.
As far as make-up,,,,have you tried bare minerals? I started using it when I got married because I wanted natural make-up for my wedding. Well, I learned how easy it was to use then, and 6+ years later, still use it, can't even feel it when it's on, and easy!!!! When I worked I typically only wore light eye makeup, and lip gloss, cause I was always sweating.
You are beautiful, but I understand wanting a pick-up, so try little things you feel comfortable with!

Re: For real - this P.E. teacher needs help!!!
After seeing your picture I think you need a major hug because you are so NOT what you think you are. You are cute and pretty and young looking!
I understand the need for a "me makeover" every so often to feel fresh. Maybe some side swept bangs and a few high/low lights?
I suggest staying away from Bare Minerals makeup if you're seeing fine lines. I used to use it and it would settle into lines that people wouldn't normally notice and make them more obvious.
Good luck on getting your sexy back.

Really? Did you use a moisturizer/primer?

Yes. Believe me, I tried EVERYTHING. I hated to have to stop using it.
ETA I'm an old sea hag so you probably have tons of years ahead of you before you have to think of such things!!

Re: For real - this P.E. teacher needs help!!!
You are super pretty and DO NOT need a lot of make up. Your skin looks great in that pic. Maybe do a little tinited moisturizer and I would go with a subtle blush (Nars Deep Throat is my fave) some mascara and a lipgloss or a little lipstick. If you really want to play it up for a night out or something then you can add some eyeliner and some eyeshadow.
As far as your hair I think it looks nice long but if you want to give it more oomph maybe cut 2 inches and some layers into it along with some long bangs. If you want extra oomph maybe add some low lights.

Re: For real - this P.E. teacher needs help!!!
I just wanted to say, from reading your description of yourself in your original post, I imagine you looking VERY different than your picture!! I think you look beautiful and I love your hair the way it is, personally! I think you are so lucky to have long blonde hair!!!
I can totally understand being in a rut though. I would say try going to the mall (maybe Mac?) and asking one of the people there for some ideas for a new makeup routine just to switch things up a bit... and maybe cut some layers in your hair which would give it more shape without taking off the length... but really, I don't want to minimize all the things you said, but I think outsiders would have a totally different opinion!! You look fresh, rejuvenated, and stylish

Re: For real - this P.E. teacher needs help!!!
Seriously, you guys are making me tear up. Thank you so much. Believe it or not my hair it very fine and thin. My pony tails are so skinny LOL Maybe she photoshopped that pic LOL Anyway, when I go to the salon, (once every 2-3 year LOL) they have said that my hair is so fine and thin that layers may not be best for me.
So I will see if they can do longer side swept bangs and Ill take a couple inches off. Im sure that will make me feel better. cactus Salon just had that $100 Groupon for $29! and I missed it. I might wait until it comes out again, unless theres another great salon with cheap prices LOL From Sayville to Shoreham.

Re: For real - this P.E. teacher needs help!!!
I had similar hair and recently decided to get it cut into a Jennifer Aniston-type bob, because 99% of the time I would just end up throwing it up in a pony-tail (boring!!!!).
I get so many compliments now and feel more grown up and like a professional.
I also try to make more of an effort when I am out running errands and such on weekends to put on something cute, yet comfy (i.e. jeggings, fun boots) instead of my typical go-to lounge or yoga pants and hoodies.
I also am making it a point to schedule myself for a haircut at least every 2-3 months.
I can't afford to keep up with things like highlighting and color, but I've found a nice salon near my home that you can get a great hair cut for around $30.00.
I also like to take a few hours each week where I leave DS with DH and just go out to "shop".............even if I am just looking at all the latest styles and trends, and just pick up a coffee along the way.
Don't be so hard on yourself.
