For SAHMs who had to cut back to stay home...
What are some of the things you miss that you stopped doing to save money
Here is my list
Manicures
Pedicures
Hair coloring
Regular hair trims
Buying new shoes every week
Shopping for clothes whenever I wanted
Going out to eat all the time with my sister
Vacations

I didn't do too many of those things before, so I have nothing to miss 
Seriously though...we prob went out 2x week for dinner...now we order in once and out for special occasions.
I still get the occasional mani/pedi/haircut because they are once in a while things I feel I deserve for working so hard 
We've scaled back where we could but overall lifestyle hasn't changed much. Not rich by any means, but not in complete despair..
Just don't know how we'd do it with a second...and i'm kinda getting the itch again....

I used to buy clothes for myself all of the time, Ive cut back and only buy something new once in a blue moon....
weekly manis and pedis have turned into once every couple of mths

Im the same way, clothes once in a blue moon, Mani & pedis only when I have to go to a wedding or party.

Same here - although I don't miss it as much as I thought that I would. I guess my priorities have shifted a bit

At this point it is just easier to keep my nails short so I dont break them on the carriage. And from washing bottles it is pointless to polish them! And as far as hair....I am now back to my natural color.....saves quite a bit of money and a whole lot of time
