Does a teacher get paid extra for doing school related things AFTER school like clubs, sports, etc.???

In some schools...in others (private) it is part of your job requirement. My friend teaches in a private HS & every teacher has to handle 1 afterschool club one day a week. In another school I worked at teachers were expected to stay 45 minutes 1x a week to tutor children that needed extra help.
