For the first time in 16 years... at 10w3d pregnant.......

I threw up Chat Icon Chat Icon

I think i jinxed myself when I told everyone how great I was feeling Chat Icon I ended up taking my prenatal vitamin in the middle of the night, so I'm thinking maybe it was from that since it was on a relatively empty stomach Chat Icon

I know I have no right to complain since I know there are so many of you who have battled horrible m/s and have thrown up countless times this pregnancy.. so my heart seriously goes out to you Chat Icon

This may sound ridiculous but since I hadn't thrown up in over half my life, I always prided myself on having a strong stomach and honestly believed I wasn't capable of throwing up. I just always thought I had a super strong stomach and would not be the type to throw up ever Chat Icon I feel so stupid for thinking that now ... and so afraid this is going to happen again any minute since I keep ranging from feeling better to feeling sooo Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon again Chat Icon Ugh. This is the worst feeling ever.

UGH throwing up is the worst, I'm sorry that you had to wake up to that. I can't believe it's been so long since you have though, that is awesome.

Whenever I took my prenatal late at night I always got sick the next morning. Try eating something that is heavy in carbs right away to get something in your stomach with the vitamin. I should do the trick.

Hope you feel better soon!!!!
I HATE, HATE, HATE throwing up....after these pregnancies however, I have no choice!
I would definitely not take that vitamin again in the middle of the night, that definitely could have upset your stomach!

Awww so so sorry you had to go through that!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Don't feel bad it happened -- it definitely sounds like it was taking the vitamin on an empty stomach that did it.

You can't control these things, so don't worry about it having happened. It's great you have such a strong stomach! I'm the type of person who gets dizzy and nauseous sitting in the back seat of a car or on a coach bus... so I always knew I'd have it bad when I was PG. Some people talk about the 21 days of Christmas, I had the 21 days of vomiting... but I've felt great for 4 days now, so that's huge!

You could just pretend it didn't happen. Like one "do-over" so you can keep your record going. I won't tell!!

I'm glad you're feeling better the last 4 days!! I have felt nauseous in the mornings but this whole week I have felt really good! I was actually just telling my DH yesterday how I think I am past that point!

I am seriously keeping my big mouth shut from now on until this baby is out!! Chat Icon Ughhhhh Chat Icon Chat Icon

No!!! Keep thinking positive!!!!!

There is definitely no evidence that opening your big mouth caused any of this -- in fact, it could be exactly what kept you from getting sick all this time!!! So keep on bragging and being proud of it!!!

dw I was sick the last 3 weeks of my first trimester- I had only one night that I threw upChat Icon . After that I started to get better.

And btw- god bless all of you who feel that way for the entire first tri or even your pregnancy- I honestly think nausea is the worst feeling in the world. The WORST!

I never heard of anybody making it 16 years without throwing up? I see gross things at my job & throw up all the time (weak stomach)

I also have escaped M/S & I am just about one week behind you!!

I could have written this post myself!! I thought I was the only one who 'has a record' going. Aside from throwing up a handful of times from drinking, I would not have ever thrown up since 2nd grade!!! lol. I've always had a stomach of steel too! Nothing makes me sick.

And I am TERRIFIED of morning sickness. Here are some Chat Icon Chat Icon to you. Feel better!

Thank god I didn't have morning sickness, but I am the same as you when it comes to getting sick. I can't handle it, I know I sound like a baby, but I cry everytime I get sick (last couple of times was alcohol relatedChat Icon ) and make my husband stay with me till I feel better. :( hope it was just a fluke thing. Feeel better!
